Father Joseph Michaud, Richard Lewis, Edward Mallandaine, Rudolphe d’Heureuse, John Wright, George Saunders and H O Tiedemann. Some of these names you may be familiar with, others, probably not. All were early Victoria architects before 1880 and each left his own design stamp on this westernmost outpost of British Colonial North America.
In an illustrated lecture, Nick Russell, author of “Glorious Victoria Homes” will explore the work of Victoria’s influential early architects. This lecture will be held Thursday June 15, 7:30pm at Ross Bay Villa Historic House Museum, 1490 Fairfield Road. Tickets are $10 and reservations must be made at firstname.lastname@example.org or by leaving a message at 250 598 1803.
100% of all funds raised go toward the preservation and maintainence of the Ross Bay Villa.
